Submission Guidelines 

Submissions to Poor Ezra’s Almanac are always open. We encourage all writers and artists to submit work, regardless of previously publications, awards, or background. Please familiarize yourself with the tone of the publication before submitting. We hope to publish the best work possible, especially that of artists and writers who are previously unpublished, emerging, and operating outside of the mainstream.

We accept works of poetry, short fiction, and creative essays. To submit, please send an email to submissions@poorezrasalmanac.com. The subject line should include your name and the genre of work you are submitting. In the body of the email, please feel free to introduce yourself and your work, as well as include a short artist’s bio, should we accept your work for publication.

We accept proposals to design issues as well. If you are an artist who would like to volunteer to design an issue, please send some samples of your work with the email titled, “Design.”
